Lin Wan, a dedicated full-time mother, was left with nothing but her 7-year-old daughter after her husband cheated on her and hid all their marital assets. The pair were forced to move into a damp basement, struggling to afford even daily meals. Just as they were on the verge of despair, the elderly street vendor she’d once helped by giving free hot dumplings decades ago tracked her down and gifted her his long-running dumpling shop. Now Lin must balance caring for her daughter, fending off her ex-husband’s harassment and rival shop owners’ sabotage, yet she turns the tiny shop into a beloved community staple with her authentic dumpling recipe and warm hospitality.
