College student Lin Xi, trying to ease social anxiety, accidentally buys a forbidden Nuo mask with weird patterns online. After putting it on, she is sucked into a mysterious space and turns into a spider demon, forced to offer blood to the evil statue deep in the underground palace. When the Nine-colored True Fire breaks through the palace's seal, she thinks she's dead, but wakes up in pain—everything is a fairyland trial dream woven by her friends. However, the residual temperature of the mask on her desk makes her realize there's a terrifying truth behind the dream, and the abnormalities of her friends begin to surface.
