Reclusive Taoist Li Xuan lived in a dilapidated temple until an accident left him 100,000 yuan in debt. Desperate, he started a live stream to make quick money—only to meet Su Xiao, a single mom scammed out of her savings by a cheater, in his first call. Using his Taoist divination, Li helped her retrieve the money, and his stream blew up: “Can the Taoist really rewrite fates?” Soon, victims of workplace PUA, victims of school bullying, and a bankrupt small business owner all flocked to him. But as he rose to fame, the Taoist Association warned him: “Changing fate against heaven shortens your lifespan.” Worse, a mysterious “Heaven’s Enforcer” began targeting him, vowing to “take back the fates he messed with.” Li juggles stream requests and the mysterious threat, unaware he’s caught in a vortex of “whether fate is controllable.”
