Lin Wan, the daughter of a real estate tycoon, just took over the family business when she was ambushed: dozens of migrant workers surrounded the company headquarters publicly, accusing her father's suburban real estate project of maliciously withholding wages and vowing to fight for their owed salaries to the end. To protect the group's reputation and track down the mastermind behind the scam, she swapped her high heels for work boots and went undercover at the construction site disguised as an ordinary female laborer. As she reviewed construction records and interviewed fellow workers, she uncovered hidden foul play within the project — and soon found herself trapped in a deadly trap. Knocked unconscious late at night, she was left stranded in a soon-to-be-poured concrete trough, with cold concrete slowly creeping up her ankles, turning a routine investigation into a life-or-death struggle.
