Meng Lingxi, the first daughter of the Underworld, accidentally travels to the mortal world after breaking a forbidden rule. Her mission is to subdue fierce ghosts that escaped to humans. Confident of her Underworld power, she finds that the ghosts here are manipulated by human forces with dangers everywhere. Her straightforward Underworld style causes funny misunderstandings and conflicts with Lu Shiyan, a cold exorcist. As ghost cases escalate, they team up. Meng Lingxi regains her lost power, exposes the conspiracy between humans and evil cultivators, beats those who look down on her, gains mutual love, and finally becomes a famous powerful ghost-catcher in both worlds.
