When Earth Reset Day arrives, meteorite radiation triggers global mutations, plunging cities into eternal night and collapsing order. Lin Mo, a former office worker, accidentally awakens a metal-controlling superpower. Due to past experiences of being bullied by colleagues and exploited by his boss, he is initially disheartened about rebuilding order. Later, when meeting ordinary people also trapped, he puts aside his grudges, leads a group to break through the siege of mutant creatures, fights out of the eternal night and brings a glimmer of hope to the ruins.
