Lin Hao, a penniless programmer, is suddenly recognized as the 'First Prodigal Son' of a top wealthy family and binds to a 'Prodigal System'—the more he spends, the stronger his cultivation ability becomes! But he's naturally stingy, even sharing milk tea to save money. Forced to squander, he gets into hilarious messes: buying an unfinished building only to turn it into a popular cultural park; trying to 'give money' to a street stall owner, but ending up partnering for a chain snack shop—he gets richer the more he squanders! Worse still, Su Xiao, the icy finance director sent to supervise him, scolds him daily for 'being bad at wasting money'. Yet as they spend time together, Su Xiao discovers the kindness behind his wastefulness—funding orphanages, helping entrepreneurs. Lin Hao, in turn, is moved by Su Xiao's seriousness. When the system suddenly says 'Mission Failed', Lin Hao realizes 'squandering' is a test from his grandfather—the real inheritance is using wealth to warm the world. In the end, he gains love and unlocks the true power of cultivation: protecting his loved ones with kindness!
