Lin Xiaomei, who grew up in a small town in Northeast China, left her childhood sweetheart carpenter Zhang Tiezhu five years ago without telling him, to earn tuition for her younger brother. Now she returns to her hometown with a project, only to be in charge of renovating Tiezhu's old house. When they reunite, Tiezhu thinks Xiaomei left him for being poor, while Xiaomei has been hiding all the savings she made secretly back then. While renovating the old house, they resolve past misunderstandings through arguments and get along, yet they also face obstacles from family and reality—will this long-separated old love get a belated answer in the snow-flown town in Northeast China?
