In the old alleys of Dongye District, a bustling urban area, the "East Night Lotus" dessert shop has stood for thirty years. Its owner is Lianhua, a quiet young woman who never transfers the shop. Lu Yan, a real estate project manager, comes to negotiate for the land. Lu Yan's mother was a victim of Dongye's old demolition case, and he comes with a sense of guilt to "make amends".
