After working overtime until midnight, office worker Lin Xiaoman rushes to Duku Highway to pick up her boyfriend, only to get lost in a rainstorm and stumble into the "Sleepless Inn". As soon as she enters, a glowing orb claiming to be a "Cultivation System" binds her—she must fulfill 10 wishes of night travelers to leave, or be trapped forever at 3 AM on Duku. Gu Zhao, the innkeeper, sneers that she's "stupid enough to water flowers" but secretly shields her from the system's punishment thunder. As she completes funny tasks like retrieving a veteran driver's lost retirement medal and taking starry sky wedding photos for an influencer, Lin Xiaoman discovers Gu Zhao is a sealed "Night Guardian Immortal"—and she's the "Human Wick" that can break his seal! While dealing with the system's hilarious tests and bickering with the sarcastic yet gentle Gu Zhao, she gradually realizes: "Sleepless" isn't about being trapped in the night—it's about someone waiting for you to turn the night into sugar together.
