Lin Xiaochuan, an ordinary wage earner, suddenly gets a pop-up of "Heavenly Gods Chat Group" on his phone one day. To his shock, the red envelopes he snatches from the group can be turned into real-life items—Queen Mother's peach becomes a beauty pill, God of Wealth's gold ingot turns into cash instantly, and even Chang'e's Jade Rabbit runs into his home, alive and kicking! He uses a red envelope to save Su Wanqing, a cold and elegant CEO, from a car accident, but his "superpower" brings endless laughs: he accidentally takes Taishang Laojun's Qi-refining pill and sneezes so hard that he smashes his living room chandelier; the Jade Rabbit forces him to buy ten pounds of carrots and makes him hide its tail from his neighbors. Su Wanqing, who initially despises him, gradually falls for his kindness. However, Erlang Shen suddenly descends to Earth to reclaim a mis-sent "snack for Xiao Tian Quan" red envelope, threatening to take away his abilities! To his surprise, the Jade Emperor appears and reveals the truth—the group is a test for his past life as a heavenly fairy child. Now he faces an ultimate choice: return to heaven or stay with Su Wanqing on Earth...
