Su Xiaoman runs "Xiaoman Noodle Stall" at the end of an old alley, raising her adopted cute kid Xiaotuanzi with her hand-made "Heart-Warming Noodles"—a simple life full of warmth. Until one day, a mysterious man named Mo Xuan kicks open her stall door: he not only snatches the last bowl of Heart-Warming Noodles meant for Xiaotuanzi (the noodles hold the spiritual energy to break his thousand-year curse) but also stealthily steals Xiaoman’s heart—one that had long closed itself off to love. Just as Xiaoman is about to let down her guard for this unexpected tenderness, Xiaotuanzi suddenly puffs up and yells: "You bad demon! Pay back your debt!" It turns out Xiaotuanzi is a "Debt Spirit" sealed by Mo Xuan years ago, and he’s here to collect a promise—the "debt" is Mo Xuan’s eternal commitment to protect Xiaoman from any harm. But with Mo Xuan’s curse still unbroken and pursuers from the demon clan closing in, can he guard this little stall, the warmth of Xiaoman, and their kid?
