The Unlucky Lady of the Wicked Village

The Wicked Village is infamous for its cruel and greedy residents. They label the newcomer Shen Xing "Miss Unlucky", blaming her for a string of bizarre mishaps: dead livestock, burned grain silos, even the village bully breaking his leg. Just as the villagers prepare to drown her, a band of bandits raids the village. In the critical moment, Shen Xing takes out her old compass and saltpeter, using the so-called "bad luck" tricks she was accused of to set traps and fend off the bandits. Only then do the villagers realize those "unlucky incidents" were her revenge against the bully's oppression, and her "bad luck" was just a scapegoat for their own evil deeds.
