Forensic scientist Su Wan tracks a serial dismemberment case to the "Evil's Bloom" flower shop on the corner. The owner, Lin Shen, is gentle and slender, always pruning black mandalas late at night. When she finds mandala powder from the victim's fingernails matching Lin Shen's flowers, and uncovers photos of the victims in his drawer—this man who once sheltered her from rain and made her ginger tea: is he a devil hiding behind flowers, or a pawn manipulated by fate?
