Lin Xiaoman, a small-town girl fond of traditional Chinese opera, is accidentally selected as a backup dancer for the opera segment of the Spring Festival Gala. With Shen’s help, Xiaoman retrieves the pendant and proposes incorporating her grandma’s adapted folk tune into the show. On New Year’s Eve, under the stage decorated with blooming flowers, their opera performance lights up millions of homes and blossoms a new romance.
