Su Wan, a star chart restorer at the planetarium, clings to her grandma’s incomplete star chart, determined to find the legendary night when “stars fell like sugar”—an unfulfilled promise between her grandma and her late lover. Then Lin Zhou, a dessert shop owner, appears, bringing “Starry Sugar” daily with star-patterned wrappers that perfectly match the chart’s fragments. When Su Wan presses for answers, Lin Zhou pulls out her grandma’s old letter: he’s the grandson of the astronomy boy her grandma once sponsored, here to keep the promise of “catching stars with sugar.” The complete star chart made from the wrappers? It’s the “lover’s orbit” her grandma never finished. Turns out, the sweetest stars don’t fall—they’re longing turned into sugar, catching all the unspoken regrets for you.
