Aunt Zhang, the landlord, maliciously raises rent to evict Uncle Li who’s run a vegetable shop at the community entrance for five years, aiming for higher profit. But Li’s shop cold chain only recognizes his fingerprint. Right after Aunt Zhang locks the door to kick Li out, the community’s cold chain suddenly shuts down—leaving the whole neighborhood without fresh produce, even emergency supplies. Panicked, Aunt Zhang begs Li to come back and save the day. This farce exposes the landlord’s selfishness, reveals warm neighborhood secrets, and gives Li a small underdog victory.
