Lin Xing'er left Apricot Hill to pursue her printmaking dream, promising to return and marry her childhood sweetheart An, but stayed thousands of miles away due to an unintentional misunderstanding for ten years. Now, news of her grandmother's critical illness reaches her, and the wind in the city blowing through sycamore leaves reminds her of the wind in Apricot Hill. She accidentally finds a package An mailed years ago at a flea market, which contains her grandmother's wish card and An's print—he had been waiting for her when the wind blew over Apricot Hill. Overwhelmed by guilt and longing, Lin packs her bags and heads home following the wind.
