Hidden in the city, the "Bee Gate" is a century-old intelligence organization where all members use "bee" as their code names and seal confidential information with beeswax. Lin Xiaotang, who just got promoted to a "Worker Bee", takes her first independent mission: delivering a "Life-and-Death Bee Note" (written on beeswax paper) to Gu Shen, the leader of "Butterfly Shadow"—Bee Gate's sworn enemy. She disguises herself as a milk tea shop clerk to get close to the target, only to find that Gu Shen has already set a reverse surveillance as a "food delivery guy". During their game of "delivering" and "intercepting" the note, they uncover the secret: the note is a reconciliation letter from the founders of the two factions, and the one trying to destroy it is a "worm" hiding inside Bee Gate. As trust and betrayal intertwine, Xiaotang must choose between completing her mission and saving Gu Shen...
