Ancient-style painter Su Wanchun travels to a Jiangnan town to find clues for restoring her mother's unfinished ancient painting *Spring Banquet*. On a stormy day, she accidentally breaks into an old ancestral hall slated for acquisition, colliding with Qin Mo—a cold-faced businessman there to negotiate the purchase. Qin Mo dismisses her as a "fraud using ancient paintings to swindle money," while Su Wanchun accuses him of wanting to demolish the hall and destroy the paintings—their conflict is immediate. But when peeling wall paint reveals half a matching ancient painting, and Qin Mo's hidden town protection plan in his briefcase comes to light, this "misunderstanding in the storm" becomes the start of their journey to unlock the painting's secrets and guard the town's spring glow together...
