30-year-old advertising planner Lin Wan has had enough of endless 996 overtime, so she quits her job and settles in the remote mountains of western Yunnan, building a makeshift cabin in the woods. She just wants to escape the urban rat race completely, but unexpectedly runs into former programmer Lu Ye, who also fled his corporate job. The two clash constantly due to differing living habits and outlooks on life, but gradually lower their guards as they work together to build a cabin, weather a sudden mountain rain, and rescue an injured deer. When they find old keepsakes in each other's belongings, they are shocked to discover the other is their long-lost high school first love. This escape to the wild unexpectedly becomes their chance for reunion.
