Su Wan, an overworked ad agency employee, finishes her annual project overnight only to receive a medical report stating she has 'advanced liver cancer.' Her life collapses instantly—overdue rent, stolen project, and her three-year boyfriend breaking up with her on the spot. When she’s crying in the hospital corridor with the report, the cold gastroenterologist Lu Jingchuan suddenly hands her a cup of hot cocoa and says bluntly, 'This report isn’t yours.' It turns out Zhou Ya from a rival company bribed a nurse to switch the reports to steal her project! Su Wan wipes her tears and fights back: she uses her well-prepared plan to outshine Zhou Ya’s plagiarized version, and teams up with Lu Jingchuan to track down the truth. As they go from 'doctor and patient' to 'comrades-in-arms,' a bigger secret emerges—behind Zhou Ya, there’s a clue about Su Wan’s sister who went missing ten years ago?
