Time Lane, an antique shop on Hong Kong's old street, is Lin Xiaoman's "memory castle" guarded for her grandfather for five years—an old record player spins 1970s Cantonese songs, a glass cabinet holds hand-made porcelain bowls from neighbors, each old item carrying the warmth of the old street. Until Cheng Mo, an architect from 2026, "crashes" in: he accidentally travels back three years after failing a project to demolish the old district, and must convince residents to sign to return to the future. But when he sees Xiaoman crouching at the alley entrance repairing a phonograph for an elderly lady living alone, and hears her say, "Old things aren't garbage; someone left their true heart in them," Cheng Mo's sudden heartbeat shatters the coldness of his mission—will he choose a "successful project" or guard his lover's "time"?
