Laid-off office worker Lin Wan is forced to take over her grandfather's struggling small restaurant. Just when she's at her wits' end, she discovers the century-old kitchen stove creates a time tunnel linking the modern and ancient worlds! Using modern recipes like milk tea, viral hot pot and ready meals, she turns the run-down eatery into a beloved hotspot for ancient knights, scholars and merchants within a month. She clashes at first with a modern food blogger Gu Yu who travels through time, then they team up to run the business across both eras, gradually developing a sweet, doting romance and finally turning their lives around completely.
