Newly graduated office worker Su Wan rents a room in a vintage downtown mansion. Every midnight on the dot, a distinct chewing sound echoes through the walls. Scared but curious, she sneaks to investigate and runs into icy CEO Jiang Shan gnawing on an old-fashioned pretzel under the moonlight. It turns out Jiang Shan is an amnesiac master chef hiding out to recover his lost family recipe. Su Wan was the food reporter who once spotted the flaw in his signature dish years ago. Starting from mutual suspicion, they gradually fall in love, with Su Wan helping Jiang Shan regain his memory and Jiang Shan standing up for her against workplace bullies, crafting a satisfying urban romantic drama full of food, sweetness and twists.
