In 1993, rural poor guy Zhang Zhiqiang was dumped by his fiancee for contracting a wasteland slope sneered at by all villagers. While working hard on the slope, he met Su Qing, a city designer fleeing to the countryside to avoid marriage. From bickering initially to being impressed by each other's tenacity, they turned the wasteland into a treasure of ecological planting and rural cultural tourism. Those who once mocked him rushed to cling to him, and he gained a sweet and mutual love. The wasteland became the starting point of his counterattack, full of twists and turns and great satisfaction.
