Su Wan, a working girl on her path to counterattack, meets a seemingly down-and-out drunk old man on her way home after overtime. Out of kindness, she takes him home. Unexpectedly, the old man is the chairman of Su Group who was imprisoned by his family and faked amnesia—her long-lost biological father. To dodge the family's power seizure, the old man arranges her to get along with Gu Yan, the group's heir, to test her. Su Wan impresses Gu Yan with her sincerity and competence, and they gradually develop affection. But a conspiracy breaks out at their engagement banquet. Finally, they reveal their father-daughter relationship, jointly defeat the family's schemes, achieve her counterattack and gain a sweet love.
