Once a renowned imperial chef, Su Yi was framed and betrayed by his junior apprentice, forcing him to hide in an alley selling wontons under a pseudonym to seek revenge. His signature wontons saved Lin Wan, a fallen noble lady forced into an arranged marriage, and the two fell in love amid the street hustle. When a tavern owner discovered Su Yi’s extraordinary cooking skills, his former betrayer showed up with a luxury restaurant contract, plotting to harm him. Su Yi stopped holding back, revealing his identity as the cooking god at the city’s culinary competition, winning the championship, exposing the traitor’s plot, completing his comeback from a street vendor to the top chef, and finally gaining a sweet fulfilling love with Lin Wan.
