Down-and-out intangible cultural heritage artisan Lin Shen runs a small traditional silver jewelry shop in a run-down alley. Su Wan, daughter of a real estate tycoon, eyes the prime plot of his shop and scoffs that “land has value but skill means nothing”. Cornered, Lin Shen uses his lost Filigree Silver Craft to restore an old lock of Su Wan’s grandmother, impressing her with true value of his skill. Su Wan defies her family to team up with Lin Shen to save the shop, falls in love with this persistent artisan, achieves a comeback and shatters the bias that “value only lies in location”.
