Three years after the apocalyptic virus outbreak, Gu Chengchuan, the "iron-fisted ruler" of Luocheng Base, hunts for Su Xiaoman, a "plant genius" hiding in the ruins, to retrieve crop seeds that can end the base's famine. He's the one who kicked her out three years ago for being "useless". Su Xiaoman makes a deal: help find her missing sister, or she'll burn the seed bank. Forced to team up, Gu's coldness masks guilt over his past decision, while Su's sharpness hides the pain of abandonment. When a zombie horde attacks and a mole is exposed, they realize: what's scarier than the apocalypse is the fear of admitting their feelings—even at the end of the world, should they drop their defenses and love?
