Li Zhao, the unfavored "good-for-nothing" Ninth Prince, is exiled to Cangwu County—a place so poor even rats won't stay—by the Crown Prince who sees him as a threat. He plans to live a lazy life, but the Crown Prince refuses to let him be: sending henchmen to steal mineral veins, fabricating treason evidence to destroy him.
