Chu Yan, crown prince of the Dayin Dynasty, was born with a spiritual root and destined to ascend to immortality. But he was sabotaged during core formation, losing all powers and becoming a laughingstock in the palace. Framed for treason by the queen, he decided to "act recklessly"—stealing corrupt officials' precious tea cakes, destroying the queen's imperial peony garden, and even adopting a mind-reading little kid named Tuanzi as his "disciple". Yet every reckless act uncovered truths: the tea hid corruption evidence, the garden revealed a letter about his mother's murder, and Tuanzi was the orphan of a secret guard left by the late emperor. As Chu Yan used his "antics" to unravel court mysteries, he realized: true ascension isn't about becoming immortal—it's about protecting the mortal world he holds dear.
