Lin Xiaoman and Su Xiaotang are ten-year best friends—one is forced by her mama's boy husband to "leave with nothing if she can't have a son," the other is cheated on by her scumbag boyfriend and "can't break up until she pays his debts." While crying together outside the civil affairs bureau, a lightning strike sends them back five years! Now, Xiaoman hasn't agreed to the mama's boy's proposal, and Xiaotang hasn't fallen for the scumbag. With the painful lessons from the future, they team up: Xiaoman confronts the scumbag and reclaims the money for Xiaotang, while Xiaotang helps Xiaoman stand up to the mama's boy and reject PUA. Along the way, Xiaoman meets Gu Yan, a gentle vet—he uses a stray cat she saved years ago to say, "I've been waiting for you." Xiaotang reunites with Lu Jingshen, her high school crush who's now a腹黑 CEO—he hands her a ring with a smile: "This time, I won't let you go." When "second chance" meets "mutual crush," this drama of girlfriends traveling back together to turn their lives around is just getting started!
