Two best friends Xia and You, who hit a wall in big-city job hunts, move to the declining old street to start a business, but face eviction threats and cash shortages. On the verge of giving up, they learn about the old street’s cultural and creative revival grant. Leveraging their strengths—Xia’s social media skills and You’s family bakery secrets—they open a retro dessert shop and fall for Chen, a quiet local artisan. The twist: their gruff landlord Mr. Zhang is actually the old street renovation project lead. They not only become viral café owners but also revive the street, gaining sweet love along the way.
