Jiang Chuan, a bastard son exiled by his family, drifts like a migrant bird at the bottom of the city, making a living as a delivery rider. An accident leads him to save Su Wan, an investment banker being chased by rivals, which unexpectedly uncovers his father's billion-yuan inheritance—his family is plotting to seize his share. Originally wanting to continue escaping, Jiang Chuan witnesses Su Wan getting hurt for helping him and remembers his mother's last words, "Don't be a coward." He finally decides to stop "flying south": using the street connections he built from delivering food to break the situation, and leveraging Su Wan's financial expertise to turn the tables on his family. As he stands at the top he once dared not look up to, he discovers an even more shocking twist behind this "inheritance battle"...
