Indebted urban girl Lin Xiaoman flees to a remote mountain in Northeast China, where she meets Wang Dachun—a gruff but skilled forest ranger with a knack for hearty home cooking. His dishes gradually soothe Xiaoman’s broken spirit, and their initial tension softens into quiet affection. A twist emerges: Wang is no ordinary ranger, but a former tycoon hiding to honor his late wife’s wish, while Xiaoman is the orphan he sponsored years ago. Against mountain mist and starry skies, their sweet, adventurous love story unfolds with unexpected charm.
