Bei Chuan Wanhuan, a cute and soft archaeology graduate, infiltrates the private museum of 'Jiangshan' Group as a pastry chef to find her missing grandfather. Unexpectedly, she stumbles into the world of Lu Dandong, the cold and mysterious CEO. Her osmanthus cake happens to be the childhood taste Lu has hidden for ten years—it was made by Wanhuan's grandfather for the 'benefactor' who saved him years ago. When Wanhuan finds her grandfather's cultural relic notes in Lu's drawer, and when Lu hands her the note left by her grandfather saying 'Wait for my granddaughter', this 'deliberate approach' has long become a two-way 'ember's seduction': He has waited ten years with the entrusted care of an old friend, and she has crashed into his gentle trap with obsession. Sweetness hides a promise across time, and when the twist is revealed, it turns out—from the first glance, he recognized: she is the 'little girl' his grandfather asked him to protect.
