Gu Zhao uses business wisdom to help her fight back, clear her father’s name, and restore the orchard. They fall in love amid lychee blossoms. Just as Su Wanying thinks life is stable, Gu Zhao disappears—he’s returned to the capital to fight for the throne, clearing political obstacles for her. On his coronation day, Gu Zhao arrives with a ten-mile wedding procession: “The kingdom I want has always included you.” The early spring in the lychee orchard comes earlier than the cold winter, and it hides his long-planned deep affection.
