In the Dayin Dynasty, Shen Yan, the blind Imperial Uncle, is dismissed as "useless" due to his eye condition, yet he secretly controls the empire's intelligence network. Jiang Li, the spoiled Crown Princess, is so love-struck over a foreign hostage prince that she’s risking the treasury—even offering military funds for his "true love". Shen Yan pretends to help her chase the prince, but he’s actually setting a trap: exposing the prince’s treasonous plot and making Jiang Li see the scumbag’s fake affection. When Jiang Li snaps out of her obsession, she finds Shen Yan’s "blindness" is a lie—his eyes, hidden behind a green silk veil, have been on her all along. This "reform"? It’s Shen Yan’s long-planned scheme to take the girl who once lost herself for someone else… and pamper her into being his one and only.
