A-Ruan, the former Meng Po (Goddess of Forgetfulness), was banished to the mortal realm by the Heavenly Emperor for accidentally swapping Lethe Water with osmanthus wine. Reincarnated as Ye Xiaotang, an overlooked illegitimate daughter of a general’s household, she discovers a hidden "Gourmet System"—her "Meng Po Soup Wontons" move the elderly matriarch to tears of joy, her "Lethe Osmanthus Cakes" tame her picky shizi brother, and even the aloof Immortal Lord Gu Heng (Han Xu), traveling incognito, lingers for her "Naihe Bridge Candy Paintings." Little does she know, Gu Heng is the very immortal she once plied with osmanthus wine—causing him to retain his past life memories! As she uses her cooking to unlock "beloved" status wherever she goes, she’s also dodging Gu Heng’s playful "revenge"—and somehow, her mortal life just keeps getting sweeter?
