Mo Jingshen, a cold and aloof CEO with no scandals, is stopped by a 5-year-old boy named Xiaotuanzi at his company’s entrance, who shouts, “Dad!” Xiaotuanzi clutches a half盒 of cold soy sauce fried noodles and says, “Mom said this was your favorite taste back then.” Mo Jingshen rummages through his memories and finally remembers Su Wan, the down-and-out girl he saved on a rainy night seven years ago—she cooked him a bowl of hot fried noodles, then vanished without a trace the next day. Now Su Wan runs a night market fried noodles stall and hides from Mo Jingshen, but Xiaotuanzi insists on being a “matchmaker”: tricking Mo into helping at the stall, covering his office with crayon drawings of “a family of three,” and even sneaking Su Wan’s old medical records to him—turns out Su Wan left because she thought she had leukemia and didn’t want to burden him? But the “truth” Mo uncovers is more shocking: the “leukemia” was a misdiagnosis, and Su Wan’s disappearance was actually orchestrated by his grandma?
