Lin Xiaoxia, a city girl, quits her big company job to go to the desert to fulfill her late grandfather's sand control wish by promoting Haloxylon planting. She keeps clashing with Chen Ye, a stubborn local sand control youth—she calls him old-fashioned, while he dismisses her as impractical. A sudden sandstorm reveals their hidden bond: Chen Ye is an orphan funded and raised by her grandfather years ago, and Xiaoxia's project has her grandfather's secret support. After clearing misunderstandings, they team up to fix the sandland, gain sweet mutual love, and achieve a turnaround from doubt to success.
