Emperor Li Zhao, a legendary ruler of all time, is driven crazy by his seven-year-old son Li Muyuan—the crown prince who climbs palace walls and falls into lotus ponds, steals braised pork hocks for bullied eunuchs, and even slaps the dragon chair in court yelling, “Dad, let me run the kingdom!” He’s sure his son is a “kingdom-ruining” rebel—until the palace coup night, when the little boy bursts in with a sugar-stained secret document: “Dad! I followed the traitors! All my ‘mischief’ was collecting evidence!” Turns out, his rebellion was a disguise: stealing hocks to get testimonies, climbing walls to find traitors’ letters. When the little prince rubs his ink-stained hands and says, “I wanna guard the kingdom with you,” Li Zhao realizes: his most troublesome “rebellious kid” is his most beloved little treasure.
