In a remote mountain village in the 1970s, hunter Lin Ye rescues Su Wan, an educated urban youth down on her luck. The village shuns the urban youth as a burden, leaving Su Wan constantly cold-shouldered. But Lin Ye sees her as a treasure—he masters ancestral hunting skills, while Su Wan is meticulous and skilled at managing business. They team up: Lin Ye hunts rare mountain goods, and Su Wan turns them into popular local specialties, gradually escaping poverty. They win over the villagers who once looked down on them, grow fond of each other, and start a sweet, prosperous life full of exciting comebacks.
