Su Qiao, a village girl who grows buckwheat, accidentally saves Lin Shen, a man with severe injuries and amnesia. While Lin Shen loses his memory, he stays with Su Qiao, planting and drying buckwheat—their sweetness grows stronger like the buckwheat’s fragrance amid the mountains of flowers. But when Lin Shen regains his identity as the heir to the Northern Town Prince and has to return to the capital to fight for the throne, Su Qiao takes out a dusty secret letter: she’s the daughter of a retired general, and she’s been waiting for this “banished heir” to help him reclaim what’s his. Caught between court intrigue and the gentle memories of the buckwheat fields, how will Lin Shen protect both his kingdom and the girl who has planted the “buckwheat hue” in his heart?
