A modern antique appraiser accidentally travels back to the 1970s and becomes a penniless village bachelor. To rewrite his fate, he ventures into the mountains with his sharp eye for wild treasures, unearthing ancient artifacts and rare herbs repeatedly. Along the way, he saves a sharp-tongued educated youth from harassment, and they evolve from clashing at first to working together against production team’s tricks and villains’ schemes. A hidden family secret is uncovered during their treasure-hunting journey. Eventually, he achieves rags-to-riches success, wins the heroine’s heart, gains a unique 1970s-style sweet romance, and slaps all who once looked down on him.
