Lin Zhao, a valiant female constable from ancient times, was chasing a flower thief on a rainy night when a thunderbolt sent her to modern times. She mistook Gu Shiyan, a sharp-dressed CEO, for the thief and attacked him—only to be hired by Gu as the security captain of his high-end residential community due to her impressive martial arts. Lin Zhao uses her ancient detective skills to solve “mysteries” in the community (like missing pets and stolen packages), transforming from a “crazy girl” in residents’ eyes to a “legendary security guard.” As she and Gu go from bickering foes to默契 partners, love quietly blooms. But when her constable token starts to burn—a sign of returning to the past—Lin Zhao must choose: go back to finish her unfinished mission in the ancient world, or stay with Gu in the modern world?
