Su Wan is forced to marry Gu Jingchuan, president of Gu Group, in place of her stepsister to reclaim her mother's inheritance, with her best friend Lin Xia as her only ally. But before the wedding, she catches Lin Xia plotting with her stepsister—her best friend is an 'infiltrator'! In despair, Gu Jingchuan presents a DNA report: 'Lin Xia is your long-lost sister missing for 15 years, and I've always known you're not a docile bride.' It turns out Lin Xia disguised as a 'traitor' to investigate the abduction case years ago, while Gu Jingchuan fell in love with the 'tomboy' Su Wan who fought off bullies with a slingshot ten years ago. When the truth comes out, the stepsister's scheme fails. Su Wan reclaims her inheritance and gains the president's favor: 'I never wanted to marry a bride, I wanted to marry you.' Her sister's protection makes her realize—the sweetest counterattack is the mutual rush of love and family.
