Su Wan, a ten-thousand-year-old "fox fairy" who just wanted to live in seclusion, is dragged down to the mortal world by a system—her mission: save Gu Yan, the villainous prince cursed by dark magic. She planned to finish it quickly and go back to her mountain, but Gu Yan's curse is more tricky than the spirit herbs she grows: every time he gets close to her, he either sneezes tea all over his face, slips into her arms, or suddenly speaks in a childish voice despite his cold expression! While complaining "this villain is stupider than my former apprentice", Su Wan uses her fairy powers to break the curse, only to uncover a past-life secret—Gu Yan was the little wolf cub she saved at Jingyang Mountain a thousand years ago, and the curse was a trap set by her jealous junior sister! When the ice-cold prince starts secretly acting coquettish for her attention, and the "immortality-obsessed fairy" blushes when teased back, this "forced" rescue mission is getting sweeter and sweeter!
