Freshly heartbroken emerging designer Lin Manman moves into a new apartment and stays alone amid a typhoon. A stray cat outside frantically scratches and screams as if preventing her from opening the door. Peeking through the keyhole, she spots her ex-boyfriend with malicious people trying to break in to steal her new design draft. At the critical moment, the stray cat she once saved attracts the community security guard, driving away the villains. Manman saves her work, and the gentle neighbor Shen Ye who helped stop the bad guys turns out to be the guy she met at an animal shelter before. Reunited thanks to the cat, they start a sweet romance, and Manman becomes an industry dark horse with the saved design.
